博士毕业于中国科学院动物研究所，荷兰莱顿大学访问学者。中国动物学会鸟类学分会委员，中国动物学会行为学分会理事，中国林学会青年工作委员会委员。

主持国家自然科学基金2项、其他纵横向课题8项。发表一作或通讯作者论文二十余篇，其中SCI二区以上8篇。

主要从事鸟类学研究，重点关注鸟类鸣声通讯、行为生态、群落生态学、生物多样性与保护。
